Artistic background
Bisbe’s work is caracterized by the variety of the techniques he uses and by the close relation which exists between his work and the spaces they are exhibited in. Concerning this last aspect, this artist stands out for intending to create a work as connected as possible to the exhibition space, thus adopting a different position from the usual one: from transmitter he becomes receiver of the surrounding. Luis Bisbe has lived for several years in Rotterdam. He graduated in Fine Arts at Barcelona University. His formation and experience are wide-ranging: he exhibited in countries as various as Peru, Portugal, Holland or Italy, which made him one the Spanish artists with major international make.
